MS Money Plus Deluxe stops

I purchased a copy of MS Money Plus Deluxe

I uninstalled the exisitng copy of MS Money Deluxe 2007

I installed MS Money Plus Deluxe.

When I attempt to run the program I receive the error message

Microsoft Money has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

I have uninstalled restarted and reinstalled 3 times, but receive the same
error message.

I have double-clicked on the .mny file but receive the same error message.

Your thoughts on correcting the problem woul be appreciated.
