Convert Money file from US to FR version

I tested the Money 2004 (US version) of a friend of mine,
and after inserting a lot of data I have decided to buy
it. But I live in France so I would like the French
version. Surprise: Money 2004 in French is not capable of
reading files from Money US !!!

What can I do?!
I had spent a lot of time inserting data, in order to test
all the features of Money, and now I do not want to start
again!!

It's not a perfect solution but you can at least judge if the shortcomings
balance the time you would have to spend re-entering data.
