I'm using Money 07 Deluxe. I have a CD and what to automatically add interest
earned quarterly to the value. I have told the program what the interest rate
is in account settings. Is what I want the program to do possible? If so, I
do I set up the account.

No. Money is not going to insert transactions based on your on the
interest rate.

The group for Microsoft Money is microsoft.public.money. If you use
the MS web interface, they call that "Money General".
