I am thinking of buying a newer version of money than I currently own. I am
trying to determining which version I need. The only additional feature I
need other than the basics is the ability to download stock prices into
portfolios I have created in money. Will the new Money Essentials do this
for me?

Money Essentials is aimed at the newbie and will not read a .mny file from a
previous version. It also has a very limited expiry of 12 months ISTR.
