Hi All

I've just updated to a new Vista machine because the old XP one died, but I
don't have a Money disk to install, it was part of the origianl emachines XP
bundle and I'm going crazy not being able to find another way into my money
files.

I can't even run or transfer the files from the origianal hard disk which
now sits inside my new machine.

Does anybody have a trial copy of Money 2002 UK Ver.11

Once I'm in, I can then upgrade Money.

Thanx in advance

Steve

I can't help you because my version of Money is older than yours (and hence
would not open your datafile).

Amongst other things, Microsoft have degraded the budget and their EULA in
more recent versions warns you that online services are now time limited. My
advice is NOT to upgrade.

The file(s) you need are *.mny and *.mbf. Are you saying that you can't copy
these from the old disk to the new one? NB make sure that the new location
is your documents folder and not Program Files.

You can buy a copy of M2005 UK from amazon.co.uk. Install this on your Vista
PC and open the old .mny file.

I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for.
