I was trying to see the difference between the Standard version and
Financial Suite of Money 2004. The only thing I can see is that FS comes
with Taxsaver 2003 for an extra £20. Does anyone know anything different.

i tried the demo for the standard version and other than some bug fixes I'm
struggling with that also to identify any reasons for upgrading. I think
the fact that Microsoft isn't making any statements about what has changed
says it all...
I won't be buying it this year. lived with the bugs for a year, sure I can
cope for another..

I am still running Money 2000 - it serves it's purpose as far as I can
make out - I've not been able to see anything in later versions that
makes me feel the need to upgrade. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Surely they have at least re-ordered all the menus - just to make it look
like it has changed. That's what they usually do.

The new stuff is kind of listed in
http://www.microsoft.com/uk/homepc/money/features.mspx. As with all newer
versions, best to try the trial before committing yourself. If one is a 2001
user, for example, then there are lots of differences. However, 2003 users
might find/need a lot less.

to be fair looks like the integration with those banks offering it is
probably improving... but changing banks so as to integrate with money is a
bit dramatic
been there, done that, not a nice experience.. certainly not going to do
it again in a hurry..
only 'real' new thing is the 'analyse your credit' feature... ie how to
have more credit to manage by buying ms money with your credit card for it
to tell you ' you shouldn't have done that'
oh, and there is little change to the menu's to answer JC's question.. in
fact I had to look twice to check whether I was using 2003 or 2004 they were
so similar
