All month long I was quite pleased with how well we were
controlling our holiday spending. Now I know why. 15-20
credit card transactions that I entered manually over the
month somehow disappeared, as I discovered when I found
them on the statement but no longer in the register. I know
I entered them because the memo fields come up with text I
would have entered the first time when I went back to
re-enter the transactions, so clearly they were there at
some point. Searching for that text or the dollar amounts
yields nothing, so I know they weren't accidentally entered
in another account.
So now I'm going back through and entering the transactions
again and grumbling extensively. Does anybody know if this
is a recurring problem, or if there is a way to fix it? A
personal finance program that loses half your data isn't
much good.
