Go slow in Business

I have MS Money 2000 Personal and business and want to
know if anyone knows why my cmputer grinds to a halt when
I am entering details of receiving a payment from a
customer, or check previous payments. The screen takes an
age to change, and parts of it go white whilst changing. I
have planty of memory etc, it only does it at this time.
Any ideas please?
