I'm using Money 99 UK and I just wondered if there is a
better way of recording tax credits other than typing
them into the memo for each dividend recorded.
The other question is how can you use Categories to help
record tax credit for any tax software.
I may upgrade to Money 2004 UK will this solve the
problems?

I do exactly the same as you (eg enter it as a memo then export to Excel to
do the adding up).

I believe correct way is to enter the dividend transaction as you are doing
then the "Tax deducted" as a payment in the cash account with a suitable
category (eg twice as much typing). This is too much work for me though

I doubt Money 2004 will solve this.
