Prompt me before backup isn't ticked, but it still asks every time?
Also, I get this error message regardless of what drive (or memory stick) I
try to backup to "Backup to hard disk failed or was cancelled"
Funny thing though, I think it may be backing up regardless of message?

Both these issues have just started in the last week. Prior to that it's
been OK since installation in November when I got the new PC.

Be sure that your Money and backup files are moved to a spot that
you will have full privileges to, such as Documents/MyDocuments.
If they are in a place like ProgramFiles, Vista will create an
impermanent copy of the file for the user to use, unless the user
explicitly right-clicks at launch and choose RunAsAdministrator
that time.

Check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled. That checkbox is in
IE Tools->InternetOptions->Advanced. It may also be necessary
to disable TLS 1.0.

Right-click the Money icon and choose RunAsAdministrator to let
possible updates happen. Then reboot the computer.

If that doesn't do it, you might have to get into Vista
compatibility mode settings.

2002 & Vista (again) Tagged this onto another relevant thread but I think it's got missed, as the original question had already been answered, so here goes again... I've got 2002 transferred over to my new Vista PC. Everything is fine except I seem to have 'lost' the ability
